Kristen Smith

Kristen Smith lives in Kennesaw Georgia with her husband of 13 years and two curious kids. Kristen is one of the Ceramics instructors at Kennesaw Parks and Recreation.  She started working in clay in 2000 in Clarkesville Georgia taking class at the Artfull Barn. In this wonderfully creative atmosphere, being mentored  by Amazing artists like Claudia George, and Greg and Gail Kimsey she was able to find and refine her voice in clay. Today her focus is getting away from production pottery and trying new things, constantly pushing and stretching, cutting and carving to find the beauty in a piece of clay.
